Stay Steps From The Town Square
& Minutes From National Parks

Hotel Jackson sits just one block from Jackson’s Town Square, which is famous for the elk antler arches on each of its corners. (Elk shed their antlers annually, so no elk were killed to make these.) Dozens of restaurants, shops, and art galleries are within walking distance. The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, National Elk Refuge, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and National Museum of Wildlife Art are within driving distance.

NATIONAL PARKS

Grand Teton, established after Yellowstone in 1872, lacks its geological marvels but boasts rugged peaks and glacial-fed lakes that inspire awe. Just four miles north of Hotel Jackson, its southern boundary, the main entrance at Moose is a quick 20-minute drive. Inside, visitors can explore scenic drives, extensive trails, and water activities on lakes while spotting wildlife. A highlight is the boat shuttle across Jenny Lake to hike to Hidden Falls or Inspiration Point. Contact our Concierge Team for adventure bookings.

Yellowstone National Park is most famous for Old Faithful. Spewing between 4,000 and 8,000 gallons of boiling water as high as 160 feet into the air about every 90 minutes, Old Faithful is one of the rare things that lives up to its hype. Beyond Old Faithful, Yellowstone is so much more than Old Faithful. Chat with our knowledgeable staff to learn some of their favorite places in the park. Bigger than Rhode Island and Delaware combined, Yellowstone has enough opportunities for exploration to last more than a lifetime. A day trip into Yellowstone is doable from Hotel Jackson, but some guests do like to spend one night in the park. If you want to do this, we recommend booking at least six months in advance. Our Concierge Team is happy to assist you with accommodation recommendations.

During the winter, Yellowstone is blanketed by more than 10 feet of snow, making it a completely different world than in summer. Also in winter, Yellowstone is much less crowded with people than in the summer. While most of the park’s roads are closed from November 1 – mid-April, you can travel into and around Yellowstone by snowmobile or snow coach. Spend a night at Old Faithful and a day snowshoeing or cross-country skiing around its groomed trail system.
